Mobile Beat Las Vegas 2014 – Day 1
My first day at Mobile Beat was amazing! I attended some great seminars, met many other talented DJ’s from around the country. Here’s a brief synopsis of the day:

Traveling to Mobile Beat Las Vegas 2014 (MBLV18)
Since I earned the award of “DJ of the Year” at Pro Sound & Light Show for the past 2 years, I had a total of $400 credit built up where Pro Sound would reimburse me $400 towards any training I went to. Lucky for me, the Mobile Beat show qualified! So I packed my bags and flew to Las Vegas for a week to learn, network, and improve myself as a DJ.

This was a very special wedding… Matthew & Elizabeth are a military couple that entered and won a free DJ Package for their wedding based on their love story, how they met, fell in love, and how military service plays a role in their lives.

I always enjoy doing weddings at Superior Shores Resort in Two Harbors MN… more often than not they are for clients whose family & friends are from out of town since the North Shore of Lake Superior is a “destination wedding” location. So I get to meet people from all over… and this January wedding was no exception! We did the ceremony inside due to the snow & cold… and then we danced!
Matt & Elizabeth’s Wedding – Salute to Love, Superior WI
Matt & Elizabeth are the first recipients of Pro Sound & Light Show’s “Salute to Love” program where they give away free DJ packages to military couples. Couples could submit their love stories on Facebook, and the stories with the most votes received the free DJ package.
After meeting Matt & Elizabeth, I knew they deserved to win, and I was truly blessed to be able to be a part of their day when they otherwise wouldn’t have even had a wedding DJ.
Nick & Katie’s Wedding – Superior Shores Resort, Two Harbors MN
Once again I had the pleasure to DJ a wedding at Superior Shores Resort. Jenna, the banquet manager at Superior Shores is great, and I know that when I’m DJ’ing there that it’s going to be a great time.
Nick & Katie’s wedding was a blast! They had a last-minute change for their officiant, but we rolled with it, and the ceremony was done inside the banquet hall. They had friends and family come from all over the states, and I was taking requests for songs I hadn’t played in a LONG time. I always enjoy when the guests push me into new music & genre’s that I haven’t played in a while, as it keeps me on my toes.

What an EPIC WEDDING! I had the honor and pleasure to be the Master of Ceremonies for Matt & Colleen’s wedding reception at the Waterfront Restaurant & Tavern in LaCrosse WI. I brought DJ Kat Bassignana with me to assist, and we brought our A-Game. With the uplighting, the Love Story, the custom first dance mix and more… I kept this crowd dancing until the venue staff kicked us out at the end of the night!
