[Video Log] St. Johns & St. Bens 15 Pines Glow Dance
What an EPIC event! We were asked to DJ the Annual “15 Pines” event put on by the University of St. Johns and the College of St. Benedicts in Collegeville MN. We brought with us a killer light show (over 40 lights, wirelessly computer controlled covering all corners of the tents) along with an extra PA sound system for sound reinforcement. The dance started off at 8PM, and by the end at 11:30 there was a thick haze of color powder (chalk dust) in the tents. The students had fun, we had fun, and I look forward to more events like this in the future.
We got more video footage, so I’ll be posting a much better video, this was just something quick I put together with what footage I had on my iPad.

Video Log – MN landscape Arboretum Wedding DJ
Wedding#2 of a back to back Friday/Saturday wedding in the Twin Cities! This was my first time working with the MN Landscape Arboretum, and I must say, they were great! We did the ceremony out in the Shrub Rose Garden, and then brought the party inside for Dinner, and then reset for Dancing in the Great Hall. Drew & Bethany have some pretty amazing friends and family, and getting to know them was a treat. I was able to surprise Bethany by meeting up with her father beforehand to record him singing a song for their Father/Daughter dance.

This was a smaller, more intimate wedding for a wonderful couple, Jason & Tammie. Even though it was a smaller group, everyone stayed and danced all night.
